Taxes In Massachusetts

I was over my parents house for dinner last night. The topic of sales taxes came up. Now I know a third of the people at the table voted for their incumbent state reps and senators. They also voted for our newly elected Governor Patrick.

Now with all things being equal, without a balance of power in this state, who will be looking out for the taxpayer? A Democrat-controlled Legislature and Democrat Governor means they will get almost anything they want. I posted my fears on November 7th. Some of them have already started manifest themselves.

Come on... The lengths one will go to court voters. I think most of America will see through this.

My photos area is busted....

It looks as though my hosting service did some kind of upgrade, because the path to my photo directories appear to be broken. I'll take a look when I get the chance. Would be nice if they notified me of such things though!

The little man is on my lap this morning as I type, Mom and the the little girl are still in bed chasing sheep hoping they can get a little more sleep.
