Yes, this is not a photography related post, but one, after reading the article about a Gizmodo employee’s account hacked, I thought this was a worthy diversion. For the record, I’m not a big fear-monger about using accounts online. In fact, I pay most of my bills online, etc. However, this wasn’t a super complicated identity theft. This hack was achieved by information phishing, a faulty customer service process, and a little laziness on our part as consumers. Read the article in full.
